The Buccaneer Alumni Association was formed in 1981, shortly after the Buccaneers captured their second consecutive (and fourth total at that time) DCA World Championship title in 1980, by former members who wished to come together for fellowship with other members of past seasons and to provide support for the Buccaneers.
